Woah! Its been over year since I did one of these. It's one in the morning and i know sleep won't come so I'm gonna type up some things that i've been thinking about or just random things about life. Cool, hope you guys enjoy.


Bible Translations
Ok, so I've been attending Hanover Church of Christ, a small house church that as really cool. Anyway, they are really bent on using the NASB(New American Standard Bible) and claimin other versions such as NLT and NIV are horrible and mess up the word of God. I still use my NLT, but I do think it is good to have a couple of translations to read up on. What are your thoughts?

Music
Well, I've been listening to a style of music called Metalcore. It has fast thick guitars, fast drums and screamed and sung vocals. Don't get me wrong, i'm still about some classic rock and pop-punk but this stuff is real good.

Friends
I've come to realize that i have many many friends, but only three or four that i really hang out with and am really close with. Don't get me wrong i love those guys to death and thay have really been great influences but, i wish i was able to something like that with many more of my friends. I know it's not likely to have that close of a relationship with all my friends, but i would like to see myself branch and hang out with those i don't usually.

Tattoos
I"ve been thinking about getting a tattoo, but i know the Bible says you should'nt tattoo yourself, so i did a little reading. the verse before it says don't get tattoo yourself, it say guys don't cut the sides of your hair or trim the sides of your beard. I don't know about you guys, but i do cut my hair and shave what i can grow. Am i sinning because of that? I don't think so. That was in the old testament, those commands were to distinguish the jews from the rest of the world. Jesus abd the New Covenant replaced the old one. We don't have physical features to seperate from the world, we have God in us, the Holy Spirit to that. I could be wrong nut thats waht I think. Let me know your thoughts please!

Cars
So, at Outback, one of my co-workers has a Mazda RX-8. hot little car. Well, one night i was out early and he wanted me to bring it up from walmart and i said sure! You have to let the engine warm all the way up before you turnit off or the engine locks up. So i got to cruise around mechanicsville for a bit!

Soul Mates
I've been thinking about "Soul Mates" recently and the whole concept of them. I've decided i don't believe there is one person out there for you and its a hit or miss. that would mean God has predestined you two be together. I don't think he does that. I think you meet a some one and as you two grow God works His Awesomeness in to it!!

Future
So here it is, i have no idea what i wanna do with my life.
Option 1: Go to J Sarge then VCU for culinary arts. Cooking seems like a cool job to do, but i don't know if  i have a passion for it so that causes issues.

Option 2: Take online classes with Summit Theological and become a preacher. I Love God but right now my life isnt where it should be. More later.

Option 3: go back to the original plan and do Mass Comm. I just don't know if thats what i want to do for a living.
So yeah, i dunno what to do, prayer please!!

God
My Relationship with God is not where it should be. In my head I know I need Him and his Grace, but sometimes its hard to feel that way. I see people who have a huge thirst for him and i feel like i don't have that. My reading is all but nonexistent. thats something i really should work on and something that can only be put on me. I slip on my language at work and i know its hurting my witness. Prayer would be awesome if you guys could give it. Cool thanks.

Is when people eat loudly and annoyingly. It might just be me but when they eat loud i feel like it is in my ear and it will make me cringe. If i can i will get away or make something loud to try and cover it up. Or if the eat with there mouth open and try to talk with there mouth full. I dunno. My dad was eating REALLY REALLY loudly today as usual so i figured i would blog and vent about it and what do you know, it helped!
